The electric power distribution market in Brazil is undergoing a period of significant transformations, with notable advances in automobile electrification and distributed generation. 

The last few years have also seen substantial progress in solar distributed generation, with a record expansion and production in 2023. Now, the Brazilian electric matrix has reached 83.79% of renewable sources. But beyond these advances, the Brazilian electric sector faces several challenges, ranging from regulatory changes to the adoption of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. What does the future hold for the sector?
